Plastic surgeons are no more qualified with lasers than we are. A plastic surgeon is not (at least we hope) going to cut off your skin and sell you new skin. So that being said, the best, safest, and most effective way to remove a tattoo is by using laser technology. The quality of the laser and wavelength certainly matters however. This is why with our extensive medical and tattoo background, Fusion only purchases the best FDA APPROVED lasers…. and yes, they are more expensive than a convertible Bentley! So to answer the question, Is it better to go to a plastic surgeon?, Only if their lasers are better than ours, which we doubt.
